Yo, thank you! The breaks here are helped by a few world percussion samples hiding in the background. I found them on some 90s world trailer music sample CDs. Rather than load my drums in a sampler or write them as midi, I prefer to use the copypasta method. There's a simple elegance to sequencing that way. It can get really complicated, but you can see at a glance exactly what you're doing to each sample.

If you like this track, you might like Sunset Chillout. It's a little more complex in terms of breaks, but it also has that easy flowing groove. :)
